On latest The Expressive Mom Show hosted by Miriam Slozberg, we had our own Relationship Expert, Janice Hoffman, who helps others understand why men and women think and behave the way they do. In June of 1996, Dr. John Gray, author of the Mars Venus world, called Janice Hoffman, asking her to be trained as his first Mars Venus Facilitator. Since that day, Janice has facilitated hundreds of Mars Venus workshops and Get Smart Dating programs.
What made Janice unique was her relationship with Dr. John Gray. She quickly became the Training Director for the Mars Venus Institute. Over the years, Janice helped train over 550 Mars Venus Facilitators worldwide. As Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus rose to its ultimate success, Janice grew in demand as a professional speaker and relationship expert.
Janice spreads the message that keeping the passion alive in marriage requires relationship skills. Janice Hoffman teaches men and women how to keep the passion alive and have fun doing it! Janice and I discussed on the show about how parents can keep their marriage alive while raising kids. It takes skill, and creativity, but it is definitely possible to keep the spark alive even after having kids- even if you have children with special needs that take more time and energy. This was very interesting. Great podcast. And everything she says is so true. You can’t start filing for divorce every time things get stressful. Life is not meant to be easy especially when kids are in the mix.
Very true and divorce brings on other stresses that you don’t have even if your marriage is dry while you are managing everything else.
