This Lemon Hack Will Keep Those Pests At Bay

Do you have problems with roaches, ants, fleas, and other insects? If so, you are not alone. You may have tried so many methods to keep those pests away, but you find that they come around all of the time. You prefer not to get any toxic bug sprays and want to get rid of them naturally. However, each trick you have tried did not work well for you. You tried a suggestion that someone gave, and it did not work too well. That is because those pests were back in your kitchen at no time.

However, the one thing you have not utilized is a lemon hack, and once you do, you will find that it will work. Why is that? That is because pests do not like the smell of lemon. It is a major repellant for them. The other thing is that unless you have an allergy to lemons (in that case, this hack will not be suitable for you), it is completely safe, and you do not have to worry about issues happening as a result of it.

How Can You Utilize Lemons To Keep Pests Away From Your Kitchen?

All you need to do is slice up the lemon peels. You can keep the flesh for other things, or if you like the taste of lemons, you can eat it! Save the peels, and then you will put them around your kitchen doorway, windowsills, and other areas such as cracks and holes where insects can get into your kitchen. If you keep the lemon peels in those areas, you will no longer be dealing with those insects! But, of course, you may also want to keep your lemons for other reasons too!

What Else Can You Do With Lemons?

Lemons are awesome because you can do so many things with them. You can:

  • Keep your fridge fresh by cutting your lemon in half and allowing it to sit inside
  • Remove coffee stains in your mug by putting lemon peel with water and letting it sit for several hours
  • Keeping your garbage disposal smelling fresh by regularly putting lemon peels into it
  • Lighten your skin by putting lemon peels on your darker areas
  • Remove minerals on chrome faucets by squeezing half of a lemon on it, rinsing it, and rubbing with a cloth

There are so many other things you can do with lemons, but those are a few ideas you can utilize with them. Therefore, now you know how to make lemonade, figurately and literally! At least now you know how to keep bugs away for good!
