Today was the 3rd day that the basement guys were busy away, building our basement. So the walls in the rec room are pretty much up. The furnace and water tank now have its own area that is sealed off. Today, the guys were putting the walls up in the bathroom-to-be. We still have a ways to go before it is complete. However it is nice to see it shaping up. It is going to be interesting when they get to the painting phase which won’t be for at least another week. We chose a maroon colouring for the bathroom walls, the cabinets will be black and the fixtures will be white. The rec room will be a cream colour. Perhaps we should have chosen something a little more interesting, however- it will be nice. Can’t wait for it to be done.
